It all began in 2009 during a study abroad semester in Australia. I took my first steps with the camera I had bought especially for this trip, an EOS 450D with an 18-55 mm kit lens. While at first everything and everyone was in front of the lens, the focus on landscape photography soon crystallized with a particular passion for astroscapes.

Today, this initial pastime has turned into a professional hobby, which has resulted in a specialist book and several articles, as passing on knowledge has always been very important to me.
